Chief Executive
Prior to joining Merchant Capital, Christopher was a founding director and Chief Executive of PCE Investors Limited, a $2bn hedge fund Tecubation business responsible for analysing and establishing over 40 hedge funds together with the provision of all middle and front office systems and regulatory cover. He has been an investment manager for over 20 years with high level experience of management in a wide range of investment areas; asset management, securities & derivatives, compliance and hedge fund management. Previously at Thornton Investment Management, part of the Dresdner Group, where he was a specialist in Asian and Japanese investment, Christopher was appointed Managing Director of Thornton Management (Asia) Limited, Dresdner Bank’s Asian investment business. Responsible for both investment and marketing he was instrumental in the business’s rapid growth in assets and profits culminating in 1997 with 190 staff in 7 countries investing over US$2,000 million in the Asia-Pacific region. Christopher is a Bachelor of Science (hons) in Physics from the University of Edinburgh, is a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
